GREEN BAY—Sammy Opichka and Sarah Hardwick scored 20 and 12 points respectively in leading the Notre Dame Tritons to a 64-60 victory. Feb. 23, over the Pulaski Red Raiders.

Green Bay United (GBU) boys’ swimmer Kaiser Neverman had a pair of top-four finishes at the WIAA Division 1 State Swimming and Diving Championships Feb. 15-16 at the UW-Madison Natatorium.

APPLETON—Cody Minor (Ashwaubenon), Cole Gille (Pulaski), Chandler Stordeur (Bay Port), Connor Ramage (Ashwaubenon), Charlie Hooyman (De Pere), and Max Meeuwsen (Bay Port) all won Sectional Championships, Feb. 16, at Appleton North High School and punched their ticket to Madison and the WIAA Individual Tournament this upcoming week.

The Ashwaubenon Nordic boys’ ski team won the 37th annual Wisconsin state pursuit championship Feb. 9-10 in Cable, Wisconsin.

ASHWAUBENON—Despite not winning a single individual event, the Ashwaubenon Jaguars swim team won the WIAA Division 2 Sectional, Feb. 9, by three points over the Cedarburg Bulldogs.

Emerging victorious for the Ashwaubenon Nordic Ski Team (ANST) in the high school boys’ relay were Daniel Huhtala (Ashwaubenon) and Ryan Thieme (Bay Port).

The Bay Port boys’ swimming team won its fourth consecutive Fox River Classic Conference title Feb. 2 at Manitowoc Lincoln High School.
