SUAMICO—On most nights, Raegan McIntyre is the fifth option in the Bay Port offense.On this night, McIntyre might have saved Bay Port’s undefeated season scoring 15 points to lift the Pirates to a come-from-behind victory over the De Pere Redbirds 51-44 in a girls’ basketball game played Feb. 7 at Bay Port High School.

De Pere High School basketball players Jake and John Kinziger scored 16 and 15 points, respectively, to lead the Redbirds over Bay Port, 62-55, Feb. 7 at Bay Port High School.

It was a historic night for the De Pere wrestling team Feb. 6.

GREEN BAY—The Green Bay Preble girls’ basketball team put the clamps on De Pere’s run-and-gun offense in route to a 39-33 Fox River Classic Conference victory in a game played January 28 at Preble High School.

De Pere High School senior Brett Pansier, who is a defenseman for the Voyageurs hockey team, said he’s had lots of embarrassing moments, but a few stick out.

The De Pere wrestling team’s depth from top to bottom was the key in turning back Bay Port in a Fox River Classic Conference dual at De Pere High School Jan. 16.

ASHWAUBENON—Four days after winning in the final period versus Bay Port, the De Pere Voyageurs’ boys hockey team was at it again tallying a third period goal with 6:40 left in the game to defeat the Ashwaubenon Jaguars by a final of 1-0 in a contest played Jan. 14 at the Cornerstone Community Ice Center.

ASHWAUBENON—Just when it looked like overtime was imminent, Voyageurs’ forward Charlie Eggers netted a goal as De Pere defeated Bay Port 3-2 in a boys’ hockey game played Jan. 10 at Cornerstone Community Ice Center.

DE PERE—After not playing in nearly three weeks, the Bay Port Pirates boys’ basketball team fought back from a double-digit first half deficit to defeat the De Pere Redbirds by a final of 57-50 in a game played Jan. 7 at De Pere High School.
