ASHWAUBENON—The Ashwaubenon Jaguars’ girls basketball team put the defensive clamps down on the Sheboygan North Golden Raiders, Dec. 29, in picking up a 37-27 FRCC victory in a game held at Ashwaubenon High School.

ASHWAUBENON—Cooper Herr won the 200 and 500-yard free and Nick Messamore the 100-yard (free and breast) individual races enabling the Ashwaubenon Jaguars to defeat the Oshkosh North/Lourdes Spartans by a final of 110-64 in a non-conference dual held Dec. 28 at the Ashwaubenon Community Pool.

The lease agreement for the owners of the Green Bay Booyah to use Capital Credit Union Park has been changed less than a year after originally signed.

In a new Junior National Qualifier SkiX event, the best junior skiers from Minnesota and Wisconsin came to race on Dec. 22-23 at the CXC Holiday Cup.

ASHWAUBENON—Chris Farrington had 18 points as the Bay Port Pirates (4-2 overall, 3-1 FRCC) defeated the Ashwaubenon Jaguars 54-38, in a game held Dec. 21 at Ashwaubenon High School.

Liam Golden is a senior forward on the Ashwaubenon hockey team. Through the first nine games, he has 12 points, including nine goals.

The Bay Port girls’ basketball team remained undefeated with a 69-53 victory over Ashwaubenon Dec. 18 in a FRCC game played at Bay Port High School.

Deedra Irwin, 2010 Pulaski High School alumna, made her IBU World Cup debut anchoring the U.S. women’s relay team at the competition in Hochfilzen, Austria, Dec. 16.

On Dec. 15-16, the Ashwaubenon Nordic Ski Team raced in Houghton, Michigan at the first set of Junior National Qualifiers.

ASHWAUBENON—Isaac Rentmeester, Parker Dorn and Liam Golden each scored a pair ofgoals as the Ashwaubenon Jaguars defeated the Sheboygan Red Raiders 6-3 in boys’ hockey in a Fox River Classic Conference game held at the Cornerstone Community Center. (Dec. 7)
