ASHWAUBENON – The De Pere boys’ soccer team showed it’s a force to be reckoned with in the Fox River Classic Conference (FRCC), while Ashwaubenon showed its growing pains.

The Seymour Thunder defeated the Ashwaubenon Jaguars 3-1 in non-conference volleyball action Tuesday night.

On Friday, Sept. 15, the Ashwaubenon Jaguars dominated at the Preble Hornet’s home field, securing their second win after beating Green Bay Southwest earlier this season. 

After a four year hiatus, the Green Bay United boys hockey team has made their return to the ice for 18 and under youth.

Seventeen-year-old Sienna Nitke’s hard work and dedication to her sport was recently recognized when she earned the All-American title for the 100 freestyle upon the conclusion of her junior season at Ashwaubenon High School.

Hayden Kupsh, a 2018 Ashwaubenon High School graduate, has made her way in the college football scene through her experience as a graduate assistant at Tulane University.

During his high school days at Ashwaubenon, Brady Wittig ran cross country and played basketball and baseball.

High School softball coach Shannon VanLaanen said he’s coached numerous multi-sport athletes during his tenure but never a powerlifting/softball combo.

Ryla was a four-year member of the Ashwaubenon cross country team and is currently in her last season of track and field, running middle distance.

Ashwaubenon recently named Zach Jakel as the new boys’ soccer coach.Jakel replaces Ken Vaughn, who served as head coach for two years.
