From there, Seymour went on a 6-1 run to take set two, 25-20, and tie the match.
Seymour held a 17-11 set three advantage, but Ashwaubenon put together a 5-1 run to trim the lead to two.
However, The Thunder staved off the Jaguar comeback, taking set three.
Seymour dominated the start of set four, jumping out to a 13-4 lead.
Ashwaubenon made a late push, but the deficit was too much to overcome.
The Thunder won the set 25-18 to take the match in front of their home crowd.
Seymour Head Coach Amber Thompson praised her team’s ability to overcome the set one loss: “It’s something we’re really working on — just digging in and having grit,” she said. “Even though we lost the set, being able to come back and prove to ourselves that we can win”
