Career Highlight: Winning the D2 State Championship last year.

How did you get started playing your sport(s)?
When I was young, my dad got me into flag football and that has been my favorite sport ever since. When I was about eight, all of my friends started playing baseball so I joined and I’ve continued playing ever since. As for wrestling, when I was a sophomore in high school the wrestling coach and my friend convinced me to come out for wrestling and after that I just continued to do it.

What is your favorite part of this sport?

My favorite part about all these sports is the friendships that I’ve built and all the life lessons that I have learned along the way. Another thing that I think is really cool is knowing that what you put in is what you are going to get out and that you have to work hard no matter what.

What is the most challenging part of this sport?
The most challenging part is all the early mornings and late nights when you don’t feel good or are sore and you still have to get up and practice or play. Even though it is a challenge at times, that is when you get better and are able to fight through adversity. This is what makes it worth it in the end.

Do you have any pre-game rituals/routines/superstitions?
Before every football game I drink a gatorade and listen to music.

What is something not a lot of people know about you?
I am a good cook.

Favorite Halloween costume you’ve ever had?
A Packers player.

Dream vacation destination?

Hawaii or Arizona during MLB Spring Training.

Favorite food?
Cheeseburgers.

Favorite flavor of ice cream?
Cookie Dough ice cream.

What is number 1 on your bucket list?
Win a Division 1 State Championship.

Any hobbies outside of your sport?
I like hunting and hanging out with family and friends.

Favorite movie/TV show?

Remember the Titans or The Blind Side.

I am not 100% sure on what I want to do after high school.
