How did you get started playing your sport?
My dad started a league for fun and we ended up building a rink in our backyard which got me started skating at three years old.
How has the balance between academics and athletics changed for you from freshman to senior year?
Freshman year it was pretty easy and has gotten harder but this senior year is gonna be easier just given fewer classes.
What is your favorite part about this sport? What is the most challenging part about this sport?
I enjoy our bus rides and time together in the locker room. The most challenging part about this sport is mastering the fundamentals at the fast pace it’s played at.
What has been your most memorable experience in high school sports so far?
Winning State for golf last year.
Do you have a bucket list goal that pertains to your sport?
Do you have any pre-game rituals/routines/superstitions?
I always put on my right gear first instead of starting with my left gear if there in a pair.
Dream vacation destination?
Out west for Mule deer hunt.
Favorite food?
BBQ pulled pork.
Any hobbies outside of your sport?
Golf.
