Career Highlight: Missing finals at regionals by ½ in my first year doing shot.
How did you get started playing your sport?
My dad was a good football player and loved it, so they signed me up for contact football in 3rd grade and I wanted to do track signed up and loved it.
How has the balance between academics and athletics changed for you from freshman to senior year?
I am definitely more focused on academics right now because I chose classes that will challenge me.
What is your favorite part about this sport? What is the most challenging part about this sport?
What has been your most memorable experience in high school sports so far?
My most memorable experience in high school sports was definitely dislocating my elbow playing football freshman year.
Do you have a bucket list goal that pertains to your sport?
I would like to at least make it to sectionals this year for throwing and I would like to be at least honorable mention all conference for football.
How does it feel as a senior, to look back throughout high school and see your growth (as a person and athlete)?
I have definitely gotten a lot better at my craft on the field and in the real world I think I’ve become a kind and driven person.
Do you have any pre-game rituals/routines/superstitions?
Not really I just show up on time and focus on the game/meet.
Do you have a mantra/motivational quote/bible verse that helps you with your sport?
Favorite food?
I love any kind of soup.
Any hobbies outside of your sport?
I like to lift weights, go up north and spend time with friends and family.
Favorite movie/TV show?
My favorite TV show is One Tree Hill.
Any memorable coaches or teammates you’d like to shout out?
My dad who has been there supporting me every step of the way.
