De Pere Area Men’s Club donates to Hands Across De Pere

The De Pere Area Men’s Club hosted its third annual charity golf earlier this summer at Ledgeview Golf Club to raise money to support Hands Across De Pere, a collaborative program between the West De Pere School District and the Unified School District of De Pere. Hands Across De Pere is managed through the school district’s guidance staff and social workers and is aimed at helping families obtain basic needs such as housing and transportation as well as food and needed school supplies for student age children. The club recently donated the $4,588 raised at this year’s outing which will be used specifically to purchase necessary school supplies for at-risk students in all grades within the two school districts.
