For the West De Pere football team, the Deschane boys — all three of them — have been a big part of the team’s success this season.

Kayla is an accomplished volleyball player and runner in track. She was the starting libero for four years on the volleyball team.

No. 3-seeded West De Pere football team handily took down top-seeded River Falls 38-6 in a WIAA Division 2 matchup.

Najeh Mitchell put up over 100 yards rushing and a pair of scores as the Phantoms earned a 21-6 road win in a WIAA Division 2 Level 2 game.

For the first time since the 2013 season, the West De Pere boys’ soccer team won a WIAA regional title.

West De Pere scored on its first seven possessions of the game and its opportune defense created three turnovers vs. Holmen in a 56-7 win.
