West De Pere High School senior Jamozzy Skenandore headed west late last week to participate in the 2019 PURE Insurance Golf Championship in Pebble Beach, California.

GREEN BAY—The Green Bay West boys’ soccer team dropped an 11-1 decision to the Shawano Hawks in a Bay Conference game played September 23 at West High School.

The fifth week of the high school football season saw all Green Bay area teams in action.

Preble’s Brett Litkey won the overall title for the boys in a time of 17:09.62, while Notre Dame’s Molly Desotell did the same for the girls in 20:03.34.

It’s become a three-team race for the Fox River Classic Conference football title, and Ashwaubenon is in the thick of the hunt.

GREEN BAY—Green Bay East’s football team committed an unheard of eight turnovers and still defeated Green Bay West by a final of 16-6 on a drizzly afternoon at West High School. Believe it or not, the Wildcats had eight turnovers themselves bringing the total to 16 for the game.

PULASKI—Brock Egnarski had two interceptions and a fumble recovery and Isaac Hanke kicked a 29- yard field goal late to lift the Pulaski Red Raiders to a 12-10 win over the Notre Dame Academy Tritons in a football game played September 20 at Saputo Stadium.
