SUAMICO – The Howard-Suamico School District announced an updated plan to phase students back into in-person learning on Nov. 19.

The Hobart village board discussed the measure Nov. 17 when it heard recommendations on the revision of the wording from Village Attorney Frank Kowalkowski.

A preliminary Planned Development District (PDD) to create a multi-use housing development along Woodland Road with 204 units was approved.

The Allouez village board adopted the 2021 village budget and before the unanimous vote, a public hearing was held, but no one from the community spoke.

The school board voted unanimously Thursday, Nov. 19, to extend remote learning districtwide in Ashwaubenon until Jan. 11.

Kent Hutchison said the city art community came into the year with momentum, but the COVID-19 pandemic has halted plans and forced innovation.

The consistently high number of COVID-19 cases in the community means a return to in-person learning for Green Bay students is still up in the air.

Because village employees are using less PTO during the pandemic, the village board voted to allow them to carry over an additional unused 40 hours.
