Green Bay Community Theater presents The Red Velvet Cake War, a comedy by Jessie Jones, Jamie Wooten and Nicholas Hope, at 7:30 p.m. April 27.


The show takes place in Sweetgum, Texas, where cousins Gaynelle, Peaches and Jimmie Wyvette plan for a family reunion at the worst time possible as each cousin is dealing with a different issue.


Gaynelle crashed her minivan through her husband’s girlfriend’s trailer home and is on the verge of a complete mental collapse.


Peaches, a mortician, has to decide if it’s time to declare her long-time missing husband dead, and Jimmie is competing to win the heart of the town’s most recent widower.


Tickets start at $10.

Spring Trash Bash

Daily Buzz Espresso Bar, Green Bay


Daily Buzz Espresso Bar is teaming up with Downtown Green Bay to host the annual Spring Trash Bash in celebration of Earth Day at 1 p.m. April 22.


The event starts at the Daily Buzz, where participants receive the supplies needed and a cleanup zone map.


The group that collects the most trash will win a prize.

Everyone who participates in the cleanup will receive a complimentary drink from the Daily Buzz.

Sip & Shop Wine Walk

Downtown, De Pere


Downtown De Pere’s Sip & Shop Wine Walk is happening at 4 p.m. April 22.


More than 15 De Pere shops will participate in the walk, such as Artless Bastard, hey, daisy! and Market Street Boutique.

Shops will offer wine samples, snacks and treats and deals.

Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available, though the event is for those ages 21 and up.


Tickets are $20.

Reel Rock 16 Showing

Badger State Brewing, Green Bay


Odyssey Climbing + Fitness is pairing up with Badger State Brewing to host a showing of Reel Rock 16, which is part of a traveling film festival that focuses on outdoor adventure films.


Food and drink will be available at the showing, along with a chance to win climbing and fitness-inspired prizes.


Odyssey Climbing + Fitness, which plans to open in the fall, will offer spaces for climbing and fitness as well as lessons and other events.


Tickets for the showing are $10, and can be purchased through Odyssey Climbing + Fitness’ Facebook page.

Morgan Wallen

Morgan Wallen is bringing his The Dangerous Tour to Green Bay April 28.


Wallen got his start on the sixth season of The Voice, a reality TV show aimed at finding undiscovered singers.


After the show, he was signed by Panacea Records, and then later signed with the Big Loud entertainment company in 2016.


Since then, he’s released two studio albums, If I Know Me and Dangerous: The Double Album.


Only platinum seating tickets are left for the 7 p.m. concert, which start at $253.

Book Club with Green Bay Area Mom

Green Bay Area Mom, a local parenting resource, is hosting its monthly book club at Titletown’s Rockwood Terrace at 6:30 p.m. April 25.


This month’s discussion will be about Madeline Miller’s Circe, a novel about Circe, daughter of Helios, god of the sun, who has the power of transforming enemies into monsters.

Zeus, god of the sky, is threatened and banishes Circe.

When danger becomes prominent in her life, Circe must choose to either follow her godly life or mortal life.
