Seroogy’s Chocolates is marking a major moment in the history of its iconic Meltaway bar lineup this Valentine’s Day with the release of its new Strawberry Meltaway bar, available Tuesday, Feb. 3.
The limited-edition bar features a creamy, strawberry-forward white chocolate Meltaway center enrobed in Seroogy’s signature milk chocolate.
The 1.75-ounce bar builds on the brand’s most iconic product line while delivering a fresh flavor profile timed specifically for Valentine’s Day.
This launch follows the debut of the Double Dark Meltaway in 2021 and marks a rare return to a white chocolate–based Meltaway, something Seroogy’s has not done in 30 years.
The only other Meltaway bar to feature a white chocolate center is the Peanut Butter Crisp Meltaway, introduced in 1995 and still the company’s number one selling Meltaway bar.
“The inspiration for this confection just comes from the love of strawberries,” said Dan Jauquet, general manager at Seroogy’s. “Several test batches for strawberry creams did not turn out favorable but when I started working on a meltaway version, the taste and texture hit the mark.”
Because Meltaway flavors are added infrequently and typically become long-standing staples, the Strawberry Meltaway represents a notable moment for longtime Seroogy’s customers and Meltaway fans.
The bar will be produced as a limited-edition Valentine’s Day run, giving customers a short window to try one of the newest Meltaway creations the company has developed in years.
Alongside the Strawberry Meltaway debut, Seroogy’s has expanded its Valentine’s Day offerings with new gift formats and updated heart box designs, giving customers additional options for seasonal gifting.
New items include the Valentine Treats Bento, a playful and shareable gift inspired by the popularity of the company’s Christmas bento box, as well as several new heart-shaped packages filled with assorted chocolates and truffles.
