ONEIDA NATION – The Oneida Nation recently announced that the consolidation of the Oneida Hotel and Oneida Casino was officially completed on Oct. 1.
“This strategic move follows a resolution passed by the Oneida Business Committee in December 2023, and marks a significant step in improving the Nation’s offerings and financial strength,” a release from the Oneida Nation stated.
“The consolidation process, led by Gaming General Manager Louise Cornelius, was completed within an ambitious nine-month timeframe. It involved the immediate rebranding of the hotel from Radisson to Oneida, installation of a new property management system, creating and installing new signage as well as hundreds of additional projects required for consolidation and rebranding.
“After more than 39 years, the hotel will now be owned and operated by Oneida Gaming, with a renewed focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences and increase the tourism value to the greater Green Bay community.”
“This consolidation represents another major milestone for the Oneida Nation,” said Cornelius. “By bringing the hotel under the umbrella of Oneida Gaming, we’re confident that we can improve occupancy rates and strengthen our financial position, all while maintaining our commitment to being good business partners and neighbors in this region.
“Our history of business growth since 1976 is unmatched in this area. We’re proud of how we have contributed to the economy and employment over the years.
“Oneida Casino Hotel is partners with the Green Bay Packers and share a legacy of pride in Northeast Wisconsin making this area a destination for business and tourism.”
Cornelius said that the consolidation is expected to generate numerous benefits, including an enhanced guest service, improved occupancy, staff retention and growth and tourism.
“The Oneida Nation remains committed to its mission of providing exceptional services to its members and guests, and this consolidation is a testament to its dedication to continuous improvement and long-term success,” the release added.
The casino and hotel are located at 2020 Airport Drive, Green Bay.
