New 130-foot mural celebrating the Ho-Chunk Nation created during ArtFest Green Bay
A vibrant 130-foot mural celebrating the Ho-Chunk Nation now fills a once-blank wall beneath the Dousman Street Bridge. The mural begins with the Ho-Chunk phrase “Wookixete,” meaning “love one another," and features a traditional dugout canoe and twelve feathers, each symbolizing one of the Ho-Chunk Tribe’s clans.
