Tell me about your family.

“I have an older sister named Sarah at Eau Claire and an older brother named Bailey at Stevens Point. My dad is from Green Bay and my mom is from Waupun.”

Do you come from a sports family?

“Sarah did soccer in high school, Bailey played tennis and bowled, my mom played hockey and also bowled and my dad did football and baseball.”

Did you ever do any other sports at Bay Port?

“I bowled my freshman year with my brother.”

What can you bowl?

“Probably about a 180.”

Is there a high school sport you wish you had done?

“I played soccer when I was younger – it was a hard one to let go when I decided to play football.”

I hear you’re an Eagle Scout.

“Yes, I completed that my junior year. For my final project, I gave a little TLC to the sign at St. Benedict Parish in Suamico, constructed a walking path and planted a few shrubs in the back by the main statue.”

What was it like to run track for coach Andy Nuthals?

“He’s a great guy. He is quite active and loud at practice, but that’s great because it got everyone to get their workouts and exercise in. He held you accountable.”

What is your most memorable sports moment?

“Running in the WIAA State Track and Field meet in La Crosse this past spring. I was a member of the 4×100 relay team.”

Do you have an embarrassing sports moment?

“I have a bad gag reflex, so my mouthguard in football combined with pregame nerves, sometimes made me throw up on the sideline before a game.”

The Bay Port football team has won 27 consecutive Fox River Classic Conference games and has a legitimate shot at a state title this year.

“They definitely do. They are going to be very good – I’m bummed I can’t be a part of it, but I’ll be following along.”

Where will you be in 10 years?

“I hope to be in shape. My goal is to design electric cars.”

What are three words that describe you?

“Intelligent, hard-working, diligent.”

Does a favorite family vacation come to mind?

“We went to Jamaica this past spring break.”

Do you have any bad habits?

“Beside biting my nails, I’m a procrastinator.”

What’s the most daring thing you’ve ever done?

“I’m afraid of heights, but I did some cliff diving in Mexico and into a lake in Michigan’s Porcupine Mountains.”

Name three things you’ll miss at Bay Port.

“The teachers and coaches, all the opportunities and the community of Howard-Suamico.”

How will you be remembered at Bay Port?

“Hopefully as an uplifting and hard-working kid.”

Board games or video games?

“Video games.”

Strawberries or blueberries?

“Strawberries.”

Carpet or hardwood?

“Hardwood.”

Vacation for the nice weather or for the amazing scenery?
