Terry Craig Westlund, age 69, passed away February 9, 2024 in Mercedes, TX after a 9 month battle with cancer. He was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin on July 8, 1954 to Gerald and Eleanor (Reinhardt) Westlund.
Terry graduated from East De Pere High School. He worked at Shopko and several years as handy man specialist and electrician. He had lived in Colorado, Florida, on the East Coast and Mercedes, Texas.
He loved setting up sound equipment for bands including operating the sound board, and He was a great fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers. He was very proud of his son Abraham who served in the United States Marines.
Terry is survived by his Son: Abraham Janssen, Special friend: Judy Weaver, Brothers: Tom Westlund, Todd Westlund, Sister: Becky (Bill) Knaus, Uncles: Eugene (Elaine) Westlund, Herb (Lois) Westlund, Aunt: Eunice (Gary) Newlon. Also survived by life long friends Doug and Missy Habeck.
He was preceded in death by Father: Gerald (Pat) Westlund, Mother: Eleanor Westlund, Brother: Tim Westlund and Aunts and Uncles.
We would like to thank the entire group of people from SJ Hospice Services LLC for the comfort and care for Terry, especially Zita who made the last days comfortable for him.
There are many who helped Terry and we appreciate them tremendously.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, April 13, 2024 at the Tundra Lodge in Green Bay, WI from 12:00 Noon until 2:30 PM.
