GREEN BAY – Two local middle school basketball teams carried the Green Bay name at the Wisconsin State Invitational Championship Tournament (WSICT) this past weekend.
Hosting the tournament on their home court, the De Pere Red Birds sixth grade boys basketball team won the Division 1 State Championship.
The Red Birds wrapped up their season with an undefeated record of 25-0 on the season.
The West De Pere Phantoms seventh grade boys team took home the Large Division State Championship in La Crosse.
