GREEN BAY – Pulaski High School Teacher Jeffrey Stoeberl was named the 2023-24 Outstanding Teacher of American History by the Jean Nicolet Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), and recently selected as the Outstanding Teacher of American History by the Wisconsin Society DAR.
The Outstanding Teacher of American History Contest honors full-time teachers of American History in public, private, and parochial schools, grades 5-12.
Stoeberl was selected based on his “demonstrated excellence in teaching and extensive knowledge of American History.”
“He shows a strong commitment to high standards in his students, relates history to modern life, and fosters a spirit of patriotism,” a DAR release stated.
“Stoeberl will be honored at the Wisconsin Society DAR State Conference in Green Lake in May. He will receive a cash award and gift from Jean Nicolet Chapter and a cash award and traveling trophy from the Wisconsin Society DAR.”
The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) is a women’s service organization whose members can trace their lineage to an individual who contributed to securing American independence during the Revolutionary War.
“Stoeberl’s activities and accomplishments have been forwarded to the contest sponsored by the National Society DAR,” the release added.
The national society will announce national winners in April.
