After a 4-1 victory over No. 3 seeded Edgewood (24-4-1), the No. 2 seeded Notre Dame Academy (18-8-1) Tritons boys hockey team will advance to the WIAA State Finals game on Saturday, March, 2 at 7 p.m.
The Tritons came out strong in their semi-final game on Friday, March 1, leading 3-0 at the end of the first period. NDA stayed strong defensively, keeping the lead at 3-1 at the end of the second period before netting their final goal of the night for a 4-1 final score.
The reigning State champions will face Brookfield East Co-op (21-5-1) at in the final game of the State Tournament.
