GREEN BAY – The Green Bay Area Public School District (GBAPS) is seeking public input for its strategic planning process.

“The Green Bay Area Public School District has retained the Wisconsin Association of School Boards to lead the District through a strategic planning process. Community involvement is a key aspect of the strategic planning process as it helps align the District’s priorities with the values of the community,” a GBAPS release stated.

“To ensure stakeholder input, staff, families and community members are asked to complete a survey. Residents of the Green Bay Area Public School District will receive a postcard that includes a unique code for completing the survey.”

Other household members may  complete the survey by contacting the district office at (920) 448-2025 to receive another passcode.

“The survey will help inform the strategic plan by allowing community members to share ideas to improve the school district and offer advice for the strategic planning team regarding potential long-term priorities and goals. The survey results will be reviewed by the Strategic Planning Committee and will be used to help determine priorities, goals, desired outcomes, and action steps for the strategic plan,” the release added.

“Survey responses are anonymous.”

The survey will close on Feb. 16.

A paper copy of the survey may be downloaded from the district’s website or picked up at the district office at 200 S. Broadway, Green Bay, or at any school office.
