GREEN BAY – After the best season in franchise history, taking the 2023 Northwoods League Championship title with a record of 41-31 overall, the Green Bay Rockers have announced their schedule for the upcoming 2024 season.

The defending champs will have a 72 game schedule — 36 of which will take place at their home field, Capital Credit Union Park.

In the 30-year existence of the Northwoods League, there have never been back to back champions, a title which the Rockers hope to claim this season.

Opening Day of the season will take place on Tuesday, May 28 against the Wausau Woodchucks with the first pitch slated for 6:35 p.m.

The Green Bay Rockers will take on a total of ten teams during the regular season, the majority of which will be in-state opponents from the surrounding areas.

There are a total of 26 teams in the league, two of which are new this season.

The official end date for the first half of the season will be Tuesday, July 2nd. Games taking place on and after Wednesday, July 3rd will count towards the team’s second-half record.

Playoffs, including the Northwoods League Championship, will take place between August 11-16.

The Rockers intend to continue their tradition of pre-game entertainment for the fans with an hour-long live-concert before the first pitch at home games, as well as a game-by-game promotional schedule to be released in 2024 with all events for home games.

The Rockers have one day in particular on the schedule this season that fans should keep in mind.

On Thursday, June 20, the Rockers will host the Minnesota Mud Puppies at home… twice.

The team is hosting a double-header where they will take on the Mud Puppies at 12:05 p.m. for a day game, and again at 6:35 p.m. for a night game.

Fans should be prepared as always for an exciting season and some great ballpark fun.
