Leon R. Drzewiecki, 85, Green Bay, passed away Friday, December 8, 2023. He was born September 28, 1938, to Zigmund “Zeke” and Rose M. (Daun) Drzewiecki.
Leon attended Catholic Central High School. He was a longtime member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1956 and served at Camp LeJeune, N.C. until his honorable discharge in 1959. Leon enjoyed spending time at his family’s cottage on Harbor Lights Road and enjoyed painting scenes from the cottage and Green Bay. He was extremely interested in history, especially related to Duck Creek and Suamico. Leon was employed by Curative Connections Workshops.
He is survived by his sister, Sr. Maria Drzewiecki O.S.F.; all the sisters of the St. Francis Community and many cousins.
Leon was preceded in death by his parents, Zigmund and Rose.
