GREEN BAY – As anticipation swirls within the Green Bay community for the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft, businesses, fans and Wisconsinites can now mark their calendars for April 24-26, after the Green Bay Packers have officially announced the dates for the Draft.
NFL Senior Director of Events and Business Alex Brooke expressed his excitement for the announcement.
“The NFL Draft has become one of the biggest and most anticipated events in the sports calendar, and it brings real tangible positive economic impacts,” said Brooke. “Equally as important — and one of the secret sauces of this event — is the unbridled optimism across all 32 teams and fanbases every April as we welcome the next generation of stars to the NFL family.”

The Green Bay Packers have been avidly vying for an opportunity to host the NFL Draft since 2015 when it first went on the road.
The Draft is expected to create a significant economic impact and bring exposure to not only the city of Green Bay, but the state of Wisconsin as a whole. At the previous Draft, held in Kansas City, 312,000 fans were in attendance while another 54 million watched it as it was streamed.
Green Bay Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy also voiced his anticipation for one of the biggest events to be held in Green Bay.
“We are by far the smallest market that will host an NFL Draft, but I will say it’s the best market. We care the most about football and nobody else has Lambeau Field or Titletown,” said Murphy. “It’s going to be really special.”
