How has balancing academics and athletics been different for you from your freshman year to your senior year?
Unfortunately, I started my freshman year online from my bedroom, so balancing school and basketball were pretty easy. Over the past couple of years, my classes have gotten harder and I’ve learned the importance of time management and how to effectively use my time in class.
How does it feel being a senior, looking back at how far you’ve come within the sport?
It’s crazy to think how fast four years flies by, it feels like it was just yesterday when I picked up the ball for the first time.
Would you say you enjoy the offensive or defensive aspect of basketball more?
Personally, I enjoy the defensive aspect of basketball more. I enjoy the reward when our team gets a stop on defense.
What is a specific activity or drill in practice that you enjoy doing?
I enjoy doing full court drills that incorporate passing, dribbling and shooting because it gets you in shape but you also have to focus on making the shot or giving an accurate pass to your teammate.

Michael Jordan because he had a tremendous work ethic and I strive to have that.

What basketball shoes are you rocking with this year?
Any memorable coaches or teammates that you would like to give a shout out to?
