DE PERE – After two decades, on Sept. 21, Element, a local marketing agency, celebrated its twentieth anniversary.

Lance Peroutka started Element as a small local business in 2003 of just four people in the basement of a daycare center.

Now, the company has significantly grown in size, partnering with not just local companies but nationally-known companies as well, such as Kaytee brand pet products and OH SNAP! single-serve pickles.

“It’s not only just a time to reflect and rekindle memories but also a time to push the envelope, try something new and be different,” said Derek Blaszak, a member of Element’s leadership team.

When asked about the company’s future in digital marketing, Blaszak stated: “We’re looking into the future of AI and innovation.”

As technology and media sensations change, Element is anticipating the trends of artificial intelligence (AI) technology by taking action by forming an AI task force in order to be the first in their field.

“We’re a dynamic organization focusing on purpose. We’re connecting the dots between marketing efforts,” Blaszak said.

Despite the company’s large outreach, Blaszak does not ignore Element’s Wisconsin origins. Element’s partnership with the community is important to the company. “We want to continue to grow marketing roles in the community and emphasize our local roots,” Blaszak said. “We’re members of The Chamber [of Commerce] and partnerships in the community help us to bounce around ideas.”

From Element’s roots as a small local business, Blaszak reflects on its successes as a growing organization.

“At the end of the day,” Blaszak said, “it’s about celebrating the employee dedication and our clients’ trust and partnership.”
