I started getting into football when we would toss around the ball at recess. Playing catch the fly, 500, 7 on 7, all the average typical games that include a football for recess. Then I started playing flag football in the 1st grade which led up to pop warner tackle football in the 5th grade, De Pere Youth Football in 6th grade, Allouez Buccaneers 7th-8th grade and then West De Pere High School football 9th-12th grade.

How has balancing academics and athletics been different for you from freshman until senior year?

The biggest difference from freshmen year to senior year in balancing athletics and academics is just finding the time in class and school to get homework done. Being a 2-3 sport student athlete can get hard with school work, so getting the homework and projects done in school leaves my evenings open for extra recovery.

What stood out to you about your position, and why would you choose it over playing anywhere else on the field?

What stood out to me most about playing on the D-line is being able to hit the quarter back as hard as I want every time I can get in the back field. Along with hitting a guy every single snap and keeping them on their toes.

What professional football player do you admire most?

My favorite warm-up song for sure is Run This Town by by Jay-Z featuring Rihanna.

Do you prefer home or away games?

There’s nothing better than the feeling on a Friday Night playing in front of your community and peers at home.

What is your all-time favorite movie?

My all time favorite movie would have to be Water Boy

What is your favorite way to spend your free time outside of sports?

My favorite way to spend my free time outside of sports would probably be working out with a couple of buddies or golfing

What is your favorite restaurant in Green Bay?

My favorite restaurant in Green Bay is 100% Chipotle.

Any rituals or superstitions when it comes to your sport?

I would say a superstition I have when it comes to Fridays is eating two pb&j and the itty bitty mini pretzels before I leave for our team walk-through.

What are your plans for the future?

I plan on continuing my academic and athletic career to a college after high school. I plan on majoring in exercise science and a minor in business to hopefully own my own gym one day or become a physical therapist or athletic trainer.
