GREEN BAY – UW-Green Bay Director of Basketball Operations Patrick Bowlin has been named assistant coach for the Phoenix women’s basketball team.

Bowlin joined the Phoenix prior to the 2021-22 season and has served as director for the past two seasons.

“Patrick has done a phenomenal job as our Director of Basketball Operations and has now been promoted to Assistant Coach with on-court and recruiting responsibilities,” Women’s Head Coach Kevin Borseth stated. “Patrick is passionate about the coaching field and I am excited to have him continue to be a part of the staff in this new role for him.”

Prior to joining the Phoenix, Bowlin spent four years as a head coach for girls basketball at the high school level in Minnesota.

Bowlin has served as an assistant coach with the UW-Green Bay and St. Thomas volleyball programs, as well as head softball coach at Cretin-Derham Hall in St. Paul, Minn., leading the team to a Minnesota State High School League Section Championship in 2021.

“I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to move into an assistant coaching role with the Phoenix,” Bowlin said. “Coaching is a passion of mine, and I’d like to thank Coach Borseth for this amazing opportunity. Green Bay is a special place, and I’m excited to take on some new roles and responsibilities and help our program continue to thrive.”
