How many seasons have you played with the Rockers? This is my first season.

How/why did you get started playing baseball? I started playing baseball when I was five years old, and nobody in my family had played the sport before. I tried soccer first, and then I tried tennis, and as a kid I liked neither one. One day my parents took me to the baseball field and I stayed there.

Who is your biggest supporter? My biggest supporters are definitely my parents and my girlfriend. They’ve been with me all this way, through all of the ups and downs and never fail to support me.

What is your favorite baseball memory? Scoring the winning run last Saturday.

What are some of your hobbies? I go to the gym. I play some PS4. I like going to the movies whenever I have some free time.

Favorite song? It’s got to be my walk-up song, “Asi Mismo” by Gustavo Ibarra, a Venezuelan rapper.

Biggest phobia? It’s got to be snakes! I hate snakes!

What is one place you would like to visit? I would definitely like to go back to my country. I haven’t been able to go back in about five or six years since I moved here, and it’s a really special place, so I would love to go back.

What is the best advice you’ve ever gotten? Never give up. If I go back to my story, there are so many times that I could have easily just quit, but I’m still here, and just the experiences that I have had after telling myself “just one more try,” and “one more try” is just phenomenal.
