GREEN BAY – ISG Inc., an architectural and engineering design firm with an office in Green Bay, is celebrating its 50th anniversary.

With 11 locations, the firm works throughout four states in the upper Midwest to provide high-quality architecture and engineering solutions for their clients using creative technology and a variety of talented professionals.

Abby Gram, ISG’s director of marketing, said, “ISG provides architecture, engineering, environmental and planning expertise that impacts our communities’ facilities, downtowns, infrastructure, water and so much more.”

Having a Green Bay location allows ISG to truly dedicate time to their projects in the area — projects that Gram described as the most “meaningful” for the company.

She said, “While our Green Bay team of 60 employee owners work on projects that span the country, some of the most meaningful projects are close to home.”

The 60 employee owners in the Green Bay location have worked all over northern Wisconsin on projects such as the Green Bay Packaging building, Green Bay’s Leicht Park Master Plan and Design, the Notre Dame of De Pere Catholic School, the Lundgaard Park Master Plan in Appleton, the Ho-Chunk Nation District 1 Community Center in Black River Falls and many more.

ISG has an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), meaning that the firm is owned by its employees; according to their website, this plan creates “a culture of accountability and opportunism” that “opens the doors to limitless potential for the firm, employees and clients.”

“As a 100% employee-owned firm,” Gram said, “we invest in each other.”

As the firm reaches the 50-year mark, they’re taking the time to celebrate with the other employee owners and with their clients.

Gram said, “We will celebrate this milestone with our clients, partners and communities. We are hosting 50th anniversary celebrations in each of our locations, which includes coordinating with local chambers and community-based organizations. We celebrate alongside our clients and communities because they helped guide ISG to the success it is today.

“As a sponsor of Fridays on the Fox hosted by DGBI, our Green Bay community event will coincide with the July 21, Friday on the Fox.”

Working with the community in events such as Friday on the Fox, ISG’s work reflects their newly revised mission statement: “We exist to make a difference, to make tomorrow better than today for our communities, our clients and each other.”

“ISG lived this for 50 years and will continue to do so,” Gram said. “While the essence of our mission has remained the same throughout our firm’s history, we used this anniversary to tailor our mission statement to better represent that. Now, our mission encompasses what we stand for, how we make decisions and how we operate as a firm.”

Even after reaching their 50 year milestone, ISG plans to keep growing.

Gram said, “Our Green Bay employee owners are excited to meet new community partners while continuing our established relationships. Over the coming years, our team will invest our time, talents and resources in the greater area as neighbors, friends and a trusted design and engineering firm.”
