Tracy Kasdorf, who has lived in the Green Bay Area for most of her life, has only worked at Uncle Mike’s Bake Shoppe in Suamico since last September but she’s already getting a sense of how unique the place is. Kasdorf said the bakery’s regular customers have been great to work with, as are the out-of-towners. She said that recently, a family from Minnesota on its way to New York to visit their son attending college stopped by Uncle Mike’s to pick up some sweet treats to bring to him, all based on word of mouth and Uncle Mike’s Bake Shoppe being widely known as as an award-winning bakery.
