Playing for the hardware (Kicker) The De Pere-West De Pere football rivalry has added a trophy to the mix and dubbed its annual game “Battle of the Bridges.”
With WDP entering the Fox River Classic Conference last year and joining De Pere, the two teams took each other on for the first time since 2006.
De Pere won that matchup, 21-16. The two teams square off again this season at West De Pere on Sept. 23.
