GREEN BAY – Registration for the 13th annual Packers 5K Run/Walk at Lambeau Field will increase by $5 for both adults and children after July 3.
Interested participants can register online at packers.com/5k before the deadline to receive a discounted rate of $30 for adults and $20 for children (12 and younger).
After July 3, registration fees will increase to $35 for adults and $25 for children.
The event is a run/walk set for 8 a.m. Saturday, July 16.
The computer-timed run is highlighted by a neighborhood route that ultimately takes participants into Lambeau Field and around the gridiron.
The event has a special finish line – the Packers’ ‘G’ painted on turf located in the parking lot.
All participants will receive a bib number and a timing chip, along with a Packers’ 5K Run tech shirt.
In addition, photos will be taken on the course and will be available at no cost on the Packers 5K Run website.
Former Packers players Dexter McNabb, Bill Schroeder and Jarrett Bush will also take part in the event by running the 5K route with participants.
The Packers 1K Kids Run is at 6:30 p.m. Friday, July 15.
Kids 10 and younger will have the opportunity to run a Lambeau Field lap.
Registration for the Kids Run is $10, and all participants will receive a Packers 1K Run t-shirt, a logoed bag and a participant medal.
