GREEN BAY – University of Wisconsin-Green Bay women’s basketball player Maddy Schreiber was recently named the Horizon League Freshman of the Week for the second time in three weeks after another strong performance against Central Michigan University last week.
In her first career start, Schreiber continued her strong inaugural campaign with 10 points and two rebounds in a team-high 31 minutes.
It was the fourth time this season she’s scored in double figures.
The 2021 Kimberly High School graduate is among the team leaders in multiple categories:
- 8.4 points per game (second)
- 4.6 rebounds per game (first)
- 46.9 FG% (first)
- 40.0 3FG% (first)
- 25.9 minutes per game (third)
