Badger State Indoor Public Market

Badger State Brewing Company
Scrounging for a last minute gift? Badger State Brewing’s indoor market at the Barrel Haus Event Hall (990 Tony Canadeo Run) has you covered.
The public market hosts over 17 local vendors every Wednesday. The market features artisan items and vendors such as Maple Buzz’s maple and honey products, T & M Inspirations’ handcrafted gifts and Pixie Kitten’s handcrafted soaps. A given, there will also be plenty of beer at the event hall to enjoy while you shop.

Santa’s Rock N Lights
Wednesday, Dec. 22 – Sunday, Jan. 2
Brown County Fairgrounds, De Pere
Santa’s Rock N Lights is back with an illuminated holiday light show this year at the Brown County Fairgrounds (1500 Ft Howard Ave).
The nearly mile-long drive-thru light show has over 700 feet of dancing light tunnels, sparkling emojis and larger-than-life 3D polar bears and dinosaurs.
While viewing the lights, be sure to tune your car radio to 88.7 FM radio station to listen to the accompanying music.
The holiday lights start up at 5 pm with tickets starting at $19.99.
Twas the night(mare) before Christmas
Thursday, Dec. 23
The Tarlton Theatre, Green Bay
Move over, Santa, Jack Skellington is coming to the big screen.
The Tarlton Theatre (403 W Walnut St) features a showing of Tim Burton’s iconic 1993 film “The Nightmare Before Christmas.”
Jack Skellington is the pumpkin king of Halloweentown, but he’s tired of the same routine. After coming across Christmas Town and its festive and cheery atmosphere, Jack decides to put on his own Christmas, but it doesn’t go to plan with the nature of Halloween Town, and accidentally puts Santa in jeopardy.
The Tarlton Theatre hosts two screenings of the cult claymation classic, one at 6 pm and one at 9 pm. Tickets are $5 at the door and food will be available to purchase.
Holiday Lights Experience
Thursday, Dec. 23
Voyageur Park, De Pere
De Pere Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department hosts its debut festive light display at Voyageur Park (100 William St).
The drive-thru light show showcases roughly 25 trees with 50-700 lights per tree alongside other various light displays.
The free light show runs from Dec. 23 through Dec. 25.
Going to the club on Christmas
Saturday, Dec. 25
Lyric Room, Green Bay
The Lyric Room (233 N Broadway) hosts the 2021 Option Reunion on Christmas night for some alt and industrial music. The one-night-only event is a celebration of a former Green Bay nightclub that specialized in electronic and alternative music.
This year’s reunion features a DJ, dance floor, lights and tracks from bands such as Erasure, Radiohead and The Smashing Pumpkins. Music requests are encouraged.
The nightclub jams start at 9 pm. Tickets are $5. Guests must be 21 and older.
Harlem Globetrotters

Resch Center, Green Bay
The Harlem Globetrotters stop by the Resch Center (820 Armed Forces Dr) to show off their talents with tricks, dunks and other jaw-dropping basketball feats.
The exhibition basketball team was founded back in 1926. Unlike a typical basketball team, the Globetrotters mix family entertainment with athleticism. Nearly 750 men and women have been a part of the team throughout its history.
This year’s tour features new, on-court characters, celebrity court passes and opportunities for fans to meet with the players.
The ankle-breaking moves start at 2 pm. Tickets start at $27.
