Hibner named to Horizon League second team

INDIANAPOLIS – Senior Caitlyn Hibner of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay women’s basketball team was recently named to the Horizon League second team.

Voting was conducted by the 12 Horizon League head coaches.

Green Bay earned a No. 3 seed in the Horizon League Tournament, but lost a quarterfinal game to Cleveland State to end the season 15-7.

Hibner, who was honored last season with a third-team nod, garnered the recognition after a stellar season on both ends of the court.

The Wisconsin-native led the Phoenix in scoring and rebounds with 15 points and seven rebounds per game averages.

The guard also finished second on the team in assists and second in steals.
