Chick-fil-A seeking to locate by Bay Park Square

ASHWAUBENON – The village’s Site Plan Review Committee will consider March 16 whether to approve a site plan to construct a 4,872-square-foot Chick-fil-A restaurant in the Bay Park Square parking area off of Oneida Street, said Community Development Director Aaron Schuette.

He said the site plan, which was submitted too late for consideration at the committee’s March 2 meeting, calls for the free-standing restaurant to be built just south of the Anderson Drive entrance to the mall.

The project plans include seating for 88 inside and 16 outdoors, along with a drive-through lane, parking facilities, signage and associated utilities.

Schuette said the village is now working through a traffic impact analysis for the proposed restaurant, which would be expected to increase the amount of traffic by the mall.

“We did request the firm do a traffic impact analysis that they use actual transactional data for a Chick-fil-A in Brookfield,” he said.

Schuette said the committee would be able to give final approval to the site plan with village board action not required.
