GREEN BAY – Notre Dame Academy (NDA) recently announced a seven-game football schedule for play this fall.

The Tritons will open the season at Kaukauna Sept. 25.

NDA will host three games and play four road contests overall.

A highlight of the schedule is a road game at West De Pere Oct. 9.

“We’re excited to offer our student-athletes an opportunity to compete this fall,” said NDA Athletic Director Matt Koenig. “Our school’s mission is to educate the whole person, and the opportunity to compete in athletics is a big part of that. It teaches young people values and life lessons. Despite the difficult circumstances the COVID-19 pandemic has presented, I’m thrilled to see many of our fall teams still having the opportunity to participate in a fall season and compete.”

NDA’s football and boys’ soccer teams will begin practices next week.

Meanwhile, the girls’ golf, boys’ and girls’ cross country and girls’ tennis teams all had their first events of the season this week.

Complete schedules for soccer, golf, cross country and tennis will be finalized and released next week.

The boys’ and girls’ volleyball teams at NDA will compete in the WIAA’s spring offering.

The Tritons are the only Fox River Classic Conference team to compete this fall.

Other FRCC members Ashwaubenon, Bay Port, De Pere, Green Bay Preble, Green Bay Southwest and Pulaski all moved their sports to the spring.

Green Bay East and West high schools also did the same.

West De Pere and Seymour are also competing this fall in the Bay Conference.
