Preble honors athletes in ceremony

GREEN BAY – Green Bay Preble High School honored seven student-athletes Nov. 14.

The athletes are all seniors.

Aubrie Gorski has participated in track and field.

She plans to attend Division I UW-Milwaukee and compete on a partial scholarship.

Gorski earned the Fox River Classic Conference Field Event Athlete of the Year in 2018.

William “Liam” Jones has participated in baseball.

He plans to attend Division III Crown College in Saint Bonifacius, Minnesota.

The Hornets advanced to WIAA state tournament a fourth consecutive time last spring.

Kaiser Neverman is a senior standout athlete who has participated in swimming and track and field.

He plans to attend the University of Minnesota and compete in swimming.

Neverman was the 2019 FRCC Conference Swimmer of the Year.

Additionally, he is a two-time state qualifier in track and field.

Keegan Piton has participated in softball.

She plans to attend Division III UW-River Falls as a preferred walk-on.

Piton has earned all-conference honors each of her three years thus far.

Kendall Renard has participated in volleyball, softball and basketball.

She plans to attend UW-Green Bay and compete in basketball.

As a junior, Renard was first-team all-conference and named to the all-defensive team.

Ryan Stefuik has participated in baseball.

He plans to attend Division I Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.

Stefuik is a two-time, first-team, all-state selection.

Max Wagner has participated in baseball and basketball.

He plans to attend Clemson University located in Clemson, South Carolina, where he will participate in baseball.

Wagner is a three-time FRCC Player of the Year and was selected as the Prep Baseball Report Wisconsin Player of the Year in 2019.
