Preble athletes sign National Letters of Intent

GREEN BAY – Nine Green Bay Preble High School student-athletes signed their National Letters of Intent in a May 15 ceremony at the high school.

All those honored are seniors.

Camryn Baenen will be attending Division III St. Norbert College to play softball.

Baenen was honorable mention all-conference in 2018 and was a part of teams that won the 2017 and 2018 WIAA Division 1 regional championship.

Bryan Boockmeier will attend St. Norbert to play football.

Boockmeier earned second team all-conference in both football and basketball during his senior year.

Logan Dorner will also attend St. Norbert to play football.

The Hornets finished 6-4 in 2018 and qualified for the playoffs.

Nick Hummel will play soccer for Division III Concordia University Wisconsin beginning this fall.

Hummel was first team all-conference and was named the Fox River Classic Conference Player of the Year in 2018.

Additionally, he scored a 30 on his ACT and was a National Honor Society member.

Lucas Lindsley will also attend Concordia University to play soccer.

Lindsley earned first team all-conference in 2018.

Bryce Miller plans to attend Rock Valley College (junior college) in Rockford, Illinois, where he will participate in baseball.

The Hornets have qualified for the state baseball tournament in each of the past three seasons.

Josh Nicklaus will attend St. Norbert to play basketball.

Nicklaus was first team all-conference in basketball during the 2018 and 2019 seasons.

He is a four-year varsity basketball player and a three-year varsity baseball player.

Zachary Renier plans to attend St. Norbert to play baseball.

Renier is a two-year varsity starter, carries a 3.96 GPA and ranks No. 11 in his class.

Additionally, he was a member of the National Honor Society.

Grace Taylor will attend the University of Wisconsin Green Bay to play soccer.

Taylor is also a state qualifier in track and field, was on the Honor Roll each year while at Preble and is a National Honor Society officer.
