Bay Port athletes sign National Letters of Intent

SUAMICO – Five Bay Port High School senior student-athletes signed their National Letters of Intent in a May 15 ceremony at the high school.

Grace Krause will continue her soccer career at Division III St. Norbert College.

Krause was a member of the 2018 soccer and 2019 basketball teams that won WIAA Division 1 state championships.

Sidni Walgurski will attend Madison College (junior college) to play volleyball.

Walgurski was a member of the 2017 regional championship team.

Jett Thielke will attend Madison College to play baseball.

The Wolfpack play in the Division II ranks for baseball.

Thielke is a right-handed pitcher who throws in the upper 80s.

Carter Highline will play baseball at Heartland Community College in Illinois.

Highline was an FRCC honorable mention choice at pitcher his junior year.

Dylan Grosskreutz will continue his football career at Division III UW-La Crosse.

Grosskreutz was first team all-conference at defensive back this past football season.

He also recently won the FRCC track and field pole vault title with a jump of 12-6.

Not present at the May 15 ceremony was Mada Powless, who also signed a National Letter of Intent last week at the Village Lanes in Howard.

Powless will bowl at Division III Marion University in Fond du Lac.
