ASHWAUBENON – The Stadium View Bar and Grille at 1963 Holmgren Way will be remodeling once again.
A year after putting in alterations on the west of the building that included a new main entrance along with a new brick veneer and new glazing, a two-story addition is now planned.
The Ashwaubenon village board gave final approval Tuesday, March 26, to the addition, which will be located along the front of the existing building, immediately south of the primary entrance vestibule, where an outdoor bar is currently located.
The latest project will consist of the following:
• The addition of a first-floor, 2,313-square-foot indoor bar on the west side to replace the existing outside bar.
• The addition of a ballroom vestibule on the west side
• The addition of a 2,982-square-foot upper level indoor/outdoor bar area.
• The addition of a 300-square-foot south ballroom entrance.
• A new façade will be added to the west and south side of the ballroom wing that will be consistent with the façade that was added to the sports bar during the 2018 renovations.
The project description also notes both bar additions will have direct access to outdoor seating areas.
The lower level outdoor seating area will be enclosed by a new fence around the existing outdoor area, which will receive a new concrete surface.
Drawings for the exterior show brick and green corrugated metal accent panels will be extended across the façade of the two-story addition and continue across the façade of the banquet hall to the new vestibule on the south of the building.
Overhead garage doors will provide indoor/outdoor access during the warmer months and serve as glass walls during the colder months.
The site plan for the project required final approval by the village board because the Stadium View Bar and Grille is located in the Sports and Entertainment Zoning District.
