FRCC boys’ swimming awards announced

GREEN BAY – The 2018-19 Fox River Classic Conference season awards were recently announced for boys’ swimming.

All-conference honors were determined by placing at the FRCC meet.

Green Bay United’s Kaiser Neverman and Bay Port’s Ozan Kalafat were first-team in two individual events.

First team: Ben Bouchard (Pulaski – 200-yard freestyle); Kaiser Neverman (Green Bay United – 200 individual medley; 100 butterfly); Griffin Hawley (Bay Port – 100 freestyle); Ozan Kalafat (Bay Port – 500 freestyle; 100 breaststroke); Kyle Zerbel (Bay Port – 100 backstroke); Bay Port (400 freestyle relay – Hawley, Zerbel, Kalafat, Payton Schilz).

Second team: Bay Port (200 medley relay – Victor Kostov, Kalafat, Ben Storby, Zerbel); Storby (200 freestyle); Kostov (200 IM); Hawley (50 freestyle); Bouchard (100 freestyle); Lucas Thibert (Bay Port – 500 freestyle); GBU (200 freestyle relay – Riley Komp, Dorjan Enick, Zach Karnz, Neverman); Kostov (100 backstroke); Bay Port (400 freestyle relay – Thibert, Tucker Rudolph, Kostov, Keaton Spindler).

Honorable mention: GBU (200 medley relay – Connor Howe, Macoy Socha, Neverman, Komp); Joe Steffel (Ashwaubenon – 200 IM); Spindler (50 freestyle); Jackson Hodek (Ashwaubenon – 500 freestyle); Bay Port (200 freestyle relay – Hawley, Storby, Schilz, Spindler); Alec Tuttle (Bay Port – 100 backstroke); Socha (100 breastroke).
