SUAMICO—With spring on the way, the Bay Port track and field team brought its success indoors and captured the Bay Port coed meet March 19 in the field house.

Shot put, long jump, high jump, triple jump and pole vault were all contested on the inside of the track, while running events were held on the perimeter.

Bay Port Senior Libby Breider captured the girls’ 55-meter hurdles, while Teagan Kleeman won the girls’ 55-meter dash.

For De Pere, Kylie Trousil ran away with the 1600-meter run, winning the event by a whopping 28 seconds.

Both Andrew Lopez and Elena Miller won the 400-meter dash races, respectively, for the Redbirds.

Green Bay West senior Zharia Wells accomplished a rare feat in taking first in both a field (long jump) and race event (200-meter dash).
