What is it like to be a leader on the soccer team at West De Pere High School? “It’s very fun and challenging because, as a leader, you want to bring the best out in people. However, sometimes you have to say things that you need to say but people may take offense to it. Overall, it is amazing.”

What is your most embarrassing moment ever in soccer? “When I was a sophomore, I ate gluten-free, so a lot of upperclassmen made fun of me mostly because I always brought a lunch to Subway before our games. It was a good joke.”

How many years have you been involved in soccer? “Twelve years.”

What is your most memorable moment? “When I scored my first varsity goal during my sophomore year.”

What’s the hardest part about performing in a soccer match? “When the field conditions negatively affect our play.”

If you could be somebody for a day, who would it be? “Tom Cruise.”

What is your sports routine before a big game starts? “We always do our warm-up routine and then an offense vs. defense three vs. four drill before we play. A teammate of ours named Juan always gives us a funny pep talk to get us ready for the game. I always take little sips of water because it helps if I get nervous.”

Do you have a nickname or something a teammate calls you during a game? “Spence.”

What is one thing that other teammates or coaches don’t know about you? “I don’t think that there is anything that my teammates don’t know about me, to be honest. My coaches might not know that I actually love to play basketball as a side activity.”

Winning individual honors or a big team win? “Big team win.”

What are your college aspirations? “I will either attend Carroll University or UW-Lacrosse to study physical therapy or business. If I attend Carroll, I would love to be able to play soccer there as well.”

What would your dream job be once you graduate? “I would love to be a physical therapist.”

What are your hobbies? “Soccer, running, basketball, skiing, swimming, video games and watching YouTube corn hole.”

What is your favorite event ever attended? “Going to a Milwaukee Brewers game with one of my friends.”

What is your favorite type of music? “80’s music.”

What is your favorite thing to do on your phone? “I check scores and keep up on my favorite soccer league.”

What three words describe you? “Fun, intelligent, thoughtful.”

What is your favorite trip ever taken? “Going to Virginia.”

TV or outdoor activities? “Outdoor Activities.”
