What is it like to be a leader on the golf team at Ashwaubenon High School? “Being a senior on the team comes with being able to show up and be a leader. I love to share my knowledge, having been on the team for four years.”

What is your most embarrassing moment ever in golf? “My most recent embarrassing moment was this past season at the conference meet at Wander Springs Golf Course. It was the first hole of the meet when I was lining up on the tee box getting ready to hit. When I actually went to hit, I whiffed.”

How many years have you been involved in golf? “I started golf my freshman year of high school.”

What is your most memorable moment? “Over the past four years of being on the team, I have improved my golf. This year is different because I have played on varsity the whole year and gained so much confidence. Playing on the varsity team always comes with being able to play in the conference and regional meet, but this year we made it to sectionals. Sectionals just tops off a good year overall and I will always remember this season.”

What’s the hardest part about performing in a golf game? “The hardest part for me is staying cool and calm-getting over bad holes or shots.”

If you could be somebody for a day, who would it be? “I would probably choose to be Mrs. Zuengler, a biology teacher at the Josh school. I have had her for several classes and she is probably my favorite teacher each year. She is always so positive, uplifting and very helpful whenever needed.”

Do you have a nickname or something a teammate calls you during a game? “I don’t have a nickname with the team, but I do have a couple with my family. My parents call me CQ and my older sister calls my curler.”

What is one thing that other teammates or coaches don’t know about you? “One thing that they might not all know is that in the summer of 2015, 14 other people from my church and I traveled to Pilviškai, Lithuania on a mission trip. On that trip, I made some of the best friends I will ever have.”

Winning individual honors or a big team win? “A big team win because I like to share my accomplishments with people.”

What are your college aspirations? “I plan to stay in state and go for elementary education. I have already been accepted to St. Norbert and I am applying to UW-Oshkosh.”

What would your dream job be once you graduate? “I would love to find a good solid teaching job right out of college.”

What are your hobbies? “I don’t have lots of extra time outside of school and golf, but I do enjoy wrapping up in a blanket to watch Netflix.”

What is your favorite event ever attended? “For the past four years, I have attended Lifest, a Christian music festival, held in Oshkosh. I love being able to hang out with friends all while worshiping God.”

What is your favorite type of music? “I love all types of music really. It just depends on my mood at the time.”

What three words describe you? “Caring, dedicated, faithful.”

What is your favorite trip ever taken? “This past summer I went on a road trip with my family to Mackinac Island, Niagara Falls, and Chicago. My favorite part about the whole trip was being able to ride the Maid of the Mist boat right up next to the falls. Doing the cave of the winds tour and having parts of the falls fall right behind me was awesome.”
