Bay Port wins FRCC Relays; Ashwaubenon, De Pere also compete

ASHWAUBENON – Despite losing some key state qualifiers from a season ago, the Bay Port girls’ swim team is picking right up where it left off.

The Pirates won the eight-team Fox River Classic Conference Relays meet Aug. 23 at Ashwaubenon High School with their 130-point total.

Ashwaubenon came in second with 94 points, while De Pere placed fifth with 88 points.

200 Freestyle Relay: 1 – De Pere (1:42.65): Jenna Finstad, Lauren Finstad, Bailey Venden, Bri Zablocki; 3 – Bay Port (1:49.56): Nicole Calaway, Anna Seroogy, Jessica Heckman, Lacy Geurts; 5 – Ashwaubenon (2:00.70): Claudia Dumoulin, Kate Barnack, Emily Jaden, Maddie Baeten.

400 Freestyle Relay: 1 – De Pere (3:44.17): Venden, L. Finstad, J. Finstad, B. Zablocki; 2 – Bay Port (3:47.57): Adie Tooley, Emily Calaway, Liz Ely, Emma Lasecki; 5 – Ashwaubenon (4:27.84): Dumoulin, Baeten, Barnack, Jaden.

500 Freestyle Relay: 1 – De Pere (4:49.49): L. Finstad, B. Zablocki, Danika Zablocki, Morgan Beckett; 2 – Bay Port (5:03.00): E. Calaway, Geurts, N. Calaway, Seroogy; 3 – Ashwaubenon (5:09.02): Hallory Domnick, Emily Selissen, Jocelyn McNicoll, Ashlee Vyskocil.

300 Backstroke Relay: 1 – Bay Port (3:12.93): Ely, Jessica Heckmann, Riley Melendy; 5 – Ashwaubenon (3:27.64): Sydney Popp, Chloe O’Connell, Vyskocil; 6 – De Pere (3:44.62): Samantha LaCount, Julie Broadrick, Emma Schepp.

300 Breaststroke Relay: 1 – Bay Port (3:30.84): Sydney Aird, Tooley, Kaiti Blumreich, Seroogy; 2 – Ashwaubenon (3:40.05): Evelyn Geurts, Selissen, McNicoll, Hannah Vanderheyden; 4 – De Pere (3:46.33): J. Finstad, Beckett, Jenna Welty, D. Zablocki.
