What is it like to be a leader on the tennis team at Ashwaubenon High School? “Being a leader on the tennis team at Ashwaubenon is very fulfilling. The feeling of knowing that the younger kids are looking up to me makes me feel good and want to practice more to set a good example.”

What is your most embarrassing moment ever in tennis? “My most embarrassing moment ever has to be when I swung and missed a ball during a match. I try to play it off.”

How many years have you been involved in tennis? “I have been involved in tennis for six years.”

What is your most memorable moment? “My most memorable moment is when I made it to sectionals in 2017 with my partner, Madelyn Coopmans. AHS has gotten a lot of recognition when a tennis team makes it to sectionals, especially the girls team, which made this moment special.”

What’s the hardest part about performing in a tennis competition? “The hardest part for me has to be returning serves. This is difficult because the farther we get into a season the teams get tougher. The serves become harder, making winning a challenge.”

If you could be somebody for a day, who would it be? “I would be myself because only I know how to handle my own personal problems. I wouldn’t like to be thrust into someone else’s unfamiliar body, home, or live with their problems.”

What is your sports routine before a big game starts? “My sports routine is to warm up, drink water, and try to intimidate my opponents.”

What is one thing that other teammates or coaches don’t know about you? “I can have a very wacky personality. I’m not as shy as I may seem.”

Winning individual honors or a big team win? “I prefer a big team win because it means that the whole group is getting better. Tennis is an easy sport to get individual recognition because you don’t necessarily need a team to win your own match.”

What are your college aspirations? “I plan on getting my general education classes somewhere near home, and maybe transfer to a different college once I figure out what I want to do with my life.”

What would your dream job be once you graduate? “I have no clue, maybe teaching?”

What are your hobbies? “I like to sit on my phone, read, play tennis, and hang out with friends whenever possible.”

What is your favorite event ever attended? “My favorite event I have ever attended would have to be the Billy Currington concert I went to in the summer of 2017. This was my first concert I had ever been to.”

What is your favorite type of music? “I prefer country music.”

What is your favorite thing to do on your phone? “I love to snap chat my friends because I can talk to them, with the added effect of seeing their face, and their surroundings.”

What three words describe you? “Shy, funny, and weird”

What is your favorite trip ever taken? “My favorite trip(s) are any trips that are long distance, such as going up north or going to the Mall of America.”

TV or Outdoor Activities? “Outdoor activities-besides tennis I like to go tanning, go for drives, and run.”
