PULASKI- The Ashwaubenon Jaguars boys and girls track teams won six running events and one field event Thursday evening (April 26) at Pulaski High School.

On the boy’s side, Randy Johnson captured both the 800 and 1600-meter runs.

In both races, he edged out De Pere Redbirds opponents by less than a second.

Senior Jose Guzman continued his dominance in the sprints by easily winning the 200 Meter Dash with a time of 22.37.

Sage Wagner, now an upper-classmen, didn’t miss a beat for the (Jaguars) girls team.

Her 2:21.39 in the girls 800-meter run was five seconds clear of the nearest challenger from Bay Port. She burst ahead of the group after the first 400 meters, and strengthened her lead coming home.

Wagner was also part of the girls 4 x 800 Meter Relay that was victorious by more than 15 seconds.

Members of the team include Mara Schroeder (who also won the 200 Meter Dash), Erica Conrad, and Kiley Harju.

Julia Perock showcased her talents in the Girls Shot Put by out throwing 12 of her nearest competitors. She won the event with a chuck of 34-10.25.
